Oversee quality control, supervise staff, and ensure consistent product quality in a manufacturing environment.
Job Description

The main purpose is to ensure that the factory consistently produces high-quality products by overseeing quality control processes, managing staff and production monitoring, identifying quality issues early, and implementing corrective actions to maintain operational efficiency and company standards.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

• Grade 12 / Matric qualification.
• Experience in quality control within a manufacturing environment.
• Supervisory or team management experience.
• Knowledge of quality assurance and production processes.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

• Manage the Quality Control Department and staff.
• Supervise quality controllers and shift operations.
• Monitor daily production and product quality.
• Ensure quality problems are identified and corrected quickly.
• Maintain accurate testing, reporting, and production records.
• Ensure testing equipment is calibrated and maintained.
• Communicate quality and production requirements with departments.
• Enforce health, safety, and housekeeping standards.
• Conduct staff training and toolbox talks.
• Ensure company quality standards are maintained at all times.
